Trent Richardson to Indy

Does this make Indy a contendor in the AFC South?

I say no. Trent averaged 3.6 yards a carry and since entering the NFL only has two carries of 20+ yards. and only 3 of +15.

I disagree. First the upgrade at QB is immeasurable. The upgrade at offensive line is huge. The other weapons around him, i.e. Reggie Wayne, T Y Hilton, Colby Fleener, etc is worlds different. The biggest difference is opposing defenses can't move eight or nine in the box without Andrew Luck lighting them up. Richardson isn't the only weapon the Colts have unlike his situation in Cleveland. I really think Richardson is going to just blow up. The other thing is Richardson is a 3-down back and he was used as a receiver in Cleveland quite a bit. With his speed and power I can see the Colts getting him the ball in space a lot.
