Every sports news outlet I've seen has Texas hiring Louisville head man Charlie Strong. Other than the job he's done at Louisville I don't know anything about the man other than he's from Florida and managed to lure Terry Bridgewater out Miami Hurricane country all the way up to Kentucky. Here is the Wiki page for Strong but as of 3 o'clock the hiring isn't official but by all accounts the official announcement isn't far off.

ESPN is reporting that Charlie Strong has notified Louisville AD Tom Jurich that he will accept the University of Texas job and will be leaving Louisville. It is expected that there will be an official announcement that Strong will become the next UT head coach on Monday. Obviously, Strong will want to get started building his staff and get acquainted with the current team and begin recruiting trips as soon as possible. Thank you Mack Brown for being such a good coach who always conducted himself with dignity and class. It's a shame he couldn't earn the all time winningest coach in Texas history but he is leaving the football program much better off that he found it. To Charlie Strong, you have some big shoes to fill, pal. Let's hope you're ready for the challenge.
