The HJ Lady Hawks will play the LaMarque Lady Cougars on Thursday night 7:00pm at Dayton High School in the Area Round of the 3A State Playoffs. The Lady Hawks defeated Splendora 44-39 on Monday night at Barbers Hill HS. The Lady Hawks were led by Senior Keisha Broussard who netted 11 points in the Hawks win. The Lady Cougars defeated Houston Yates 48-40 Tuesday night to advance to the Area Round. Winner of this game will advance to play the winner of the Hamshire-Fannett/Stafford game next week in the Regional Quarterfinals. Broadcast will start 10 minutes prior to tip off.
