The #16 state ranked HJ Hawks begin their quest for a 4th State Basketball Championship on Tuesday night against the Huffman-Hargrave Falcons. HJ defeated the Falcons 79-57 back on November 22nd in a game played in Sour Lake. The Hawks (29-7, 8-4) lost in a warm up game on Saturday to the 2A #1 Kountze Lions 72-70. The Falcons (2nd place team from District 22-3A) went 10-2 this season in district play with both losses coming to district champion Cleveland. The Bi-District Playoff game will be played at Dayton High School, and the game is set to tip off at 7:00pm. Broadcast will start 10 minutes prior to tip off.
