Are you kidding me? Take a look at that kick. It didn't get anywhere near the end zone. Teams are going to run kickoffs back like they're playing against CO Wilson! We seriously can't recruit a kicker that can kick it into the end zone? Over/under on touchbacks is set at 1. I'll take the under. Here comes another sub par season. Pathetic.

Tough angle but It looked to me like it was inside the 5 yard line. If you want to criticize, and it appears that you do, say something's about the low hang time. Secondly, are field goal kicker is on some watch list and hasn't missed a game kick since he has been at LU. Our punter last year was All SLC...I think we have recruited some pretty good kicking specialist.

*OUR field goal kicker. And yes, the hang time was awful too. I'm just sick of seeing this team under-perform. I want to see a winner on that field. I want Beaumont to see a winner and learn to show a little passion. Not too much to ask for OUR town.

Two years ago this would have been an issue. But now, teams are actually teaching their kickoff specialists to kick it at the goal line or inside the five yard line because the kick off spot has been moved up. If they kick it into the in zone the ball is moved the ball is moved to the 25 yard line. If they put it within the five yard line, the average starting field position last year was about the 18 yard line. But then again, I'm sure you will have some sort of snippy and negative comeback to this.

It's best to give it to them at the 25 then to risk having the kick returned all the way for a TD, or around the 35 to 50. Kicking it low and short is bad news. Either get some air under the ball or kick it into the end zone. Your stats are flawed.

I hate to agree with negative nancy and all but I have been less than pleased with the kickoffs the last couple seasons...everyone knows 2012 was just a nightmare but the games I saw last year had a lot of low line drive kickoffs...both Ball and Carronco have very strong legs and I witnessed Carrano boot kickoffs though the end zone in HS so I know he's capable of it...just don't know why it wasn't there last year (maybe the college size ball?). But to play devil's advocate about the clip in the video, LU now has Brian Morgan working with them so he might be tweaking with technique and the kickers could still be adjusting...

Special Teams should be fixed by now. To allow it to go on this long is just inexcusable. And I am terrified to see the Defense in action. I have heard practice yesterday was less than stellar for that group.

You are absolutely correct Big T. Most of the teams we played against last year did the exact same thing as well.

Well then don't go

No sir, I'll be there for every game. Since when is stating the obvious no matter how unpopular to sunshine pumpers a reason to not show up at games?? I was told by a reliable source that the defense was atrocious at last nights practice. Bad enough to be screamed at by the coaching staff and forced to do drills and push-ups as a unit after the offense hit the showers. Bad enough to make Berry and Dausin look like Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers in the passing game. Sloppy. Sloppy. Sloppy. Is it wrong to expect and want more for our team??

I haven't checked to see if there is a ignore button on this new lay out but if there is I do believe I shall put him on the list. Getting on my every nerve and he personally attacked Hey Guy because he watched Shark Week?? He is just a trouble maker.
