It is Senior Night in the Hawks Nest this Friday. The Hawks will recognize all of the seniors on the team which include Remy Rupert, Grant Franks, Brad Franks, Brady Haskett, Maleik Bodley and Dylan Mays when they play the Bridge City Cardinals. The Hawks (23-6, 8-1) are coming off of a lackluster win at HF on Tuesday which saw the Hawks block 23 of the Longhorns shots (12 by Jamerson Roberts alone) en route to a 76-44 victory. HJ has secured a playoff spot, but the Hawks are looking to remain within reach of the #1 seed and maintain their lead over the #3 seed for playoff positioning. The Cardinals (12-15, 1-7) come into the game taking a beating at the hands of Silsbee 103-45. Bridge City with a loss will be eliminated from the playoff race. Game time is set for 7:30pm, with the broadcast beginning at approximately 7:25pm depending upon 9th, JV game and Senior Night festivities.
