The Hardin-Jefferson Hawks jumped out on Liberty early and often on Tuesday night, and never looked back in a 75-57 victory over the Panthers in the Bi-District Round of the State Playoffs. HJ ranked #16 in the Class 4A polls moved to 27-6 on the season with the victory. Now a familiar foe stands between the Regional Quarterfinals and the Hawks. The 9th ranked Navasota Rattlers a team in which HJ has met up with 5 of the last 9 years in the playoffs are on the slate Friday night as the Hawks and Rattlers will play at New Caney Porter High School. Tip off is set for 7:00pm with LIVE play by play action from Rob Lietzke here on the Big Red Insider Radio Network. Winner of this game will advance to the Regional Quarter Finals to take on either #2 Houston Sterling or Little Cypress-Mauriceville.
