Nine home games, including the first Sunday night home contest in program history, highlight the 2015 Lamar University women's soccer schedule that was announced today.
The Lady Cardinals open their season at 7 p.m. Aug 21, as San Jose State, the alma mater of Lamar soccer coach Orlando Cervantes, makes its first-ever visit to the Lamar Soccer Complex. Other non-conference home games include a pair of matches against Southwestern Athletic Conference schools. Texas Southern visits Lamar at 7 p.m. Aug. 28, while Alcorn State comes to town at 1 p.m. at 1 p.m. Sept. 13. The Lady Cardinals will take on LSU-Alexandria for the first-time in program history at 5 p.m. Aug. 30 in a rare Sunday evening affair.
