From Charlton-Pollard in Beaumont, to Michigan State, to the NFL and then to Police Academy fame. He was 66 years old.

Man, that is sad to read. I read he was a really nice person (off the field). I read he was friendly with fan's and wasn't a jerk like a lot of stars become.

Very sad, my Mother told me today that she had Bubba Smith's mom for Home Ec in High School. She said his mother was always very proud of her son.
