I'm not posting the rankings this week, but let's just say that Sammy State and Central Arky are top 10 teams while the football newbies (IWU, HBU and yes LU) are fighting for the bottom feeder title!

dang...we went up a spot! Number 111! Frisco here we come!

Oddly enuf, 111 is our probable attendance next home game. 110 after our first possesion if we run the veer, the diamond, the Schultz Shuffle, (whatever the hell you wanna call it)..cuz I'll be hitting the road.

Glad the SLC got three teams into the playoffs, but not sure it makes sense that a three loss Nicholls gets in over a two loss McNeese even though Nicholls did win the head to head match up in the first game of the year. Neither school played both of the top two teams in conference.

LU played better against SHSU than Nicholls did. Nicholls also lost their last game of the season against SELA. McNeese lost by 30 to UCA who beat SHSU. Against D1 teams McNeese was 8-2 while Nicholls was 8-3 so maybe playing a non-D1 team hurt McNeese. With expanded playoffs they have to choose teams that probably don't belong so it's basically a coin toss (or politics) of who to invite.

barely beating us probably did McNeese in. Surprising, tho, cuz McNeese has a good fan base. Looked like about 80% of the stadium Saturday was McNeese fans. Nichollls got squat for fan support.

well, the Missouri Fricking Valley always has to get at least 5 teams in.
