Gillam the most experienced Cardinal

In last season's eighth game is when Kyle Gillam's season nearly came to a premature end.

His left knee throbbed as he writhed in pain on the turf floor of the Alerus Center in Grand Forks, N.D.

 

An MRI in Beaumont revealed a partially-torn knee ligament. But Gillam, a center, continued to play, making him the only offensive lineman to start all 11 games at one position last season.

 

"I toughed it out and played the rest of the year," said Gillam, who described his injured knee as feeling wobbly through the end of the season.

He is a stud and the leader of the O-line. Glad he chose to come back to Lamar and play college football.

 

Yes he and the other additions like Davis and Oden have three years together. That will be a dang good line in three years.
