Impressed with the performance of Lincoln Smith so far tonight. He came in at about the 17:00 minute mark and has been playing aggressive defense and made some good passes on offense. Harrison picked up two early fouls to he is sitting probably until half.

Overall a decent half for the Cards. Positives include play of Smith, Muoka multiple blocks and more aggressive than most of the earlier games. Lamar only down one with Harrison spending close to seventeen minutes on the bench with his early fouls. Negatives not defending the three point line very well, Kopp took a couple of quick three pointers that missed. With his shooting percentage on the year I don't like him taking a three without some amount of offense run by the team. Sullivan picked up his second foul with four seconds left in the half. HBU made one of two to get the lead. Per usual Lamar has more turnovers than their opponent.

If we can't beat HBU, then there has to be a coaching change after the season. I like Coach Price but this is depressing.

This team just doesn't have what it takes. It's hard to tell where all the problems are. The Lamar video announcers aren't any better than the players. For almost two years they have said Kopp has a high basketball iq, but his play doesn't show it to me. I know it's a broken record but shot selection and turnovers cost the Cards again. I sure hope Born has a lead on a better coach.

I am sure Price will say that HBU is the best 4-13 team in the country. I am not convinced we will win another game this season. Perimeter defense is a joke!

Maybe Kopp's three point attempt with was almost good, but when your shooting 20% for the year from three point range it is not the shot you should take when your team has clawed back from sixteen down with a chance to tie the game.

My theory is that Price is pulling a Pat Knight and does not give a damn. He is just collecting a nice paycheck until he retires.
