Dam...frickin crickets all week. Havent heard nuthin about game. LU website finally posted something today. Its either piss poor media relations, or they want to hide the upcoming bloodbath. Im thinking 69-3 Sam. Altho, they were still passing in the 4th quarter up a bazillion on Nicholls.

I have very low expectation for Lamar tomorrow. Sam defeated Nicholls by 59 and Nicholls defeated Lamar by 55. Theoretically anything better than 109-0 means Lamar is improving. I do want to see Lamar score in this game.

sfa beat us when carthel came here with 53 freshman. Cept he had linemen.

we have returning starters at Linebacker and defensive backs. Dunno why Morgan isnt playing them more.

I think Coach Morgan has done an excellent job coaching this team. We have improved greatly from week 1.

They are scrappy! Having virtually zero returning lineman on either side is a killer.

Other SLC action today. Late in the fourth quarter UIW up by 19 over SELA, McNeese and Northwestern St tied 7-7 at halftime.

6:26 left in the first quarter with Sam up 7-0. Lamar has had three possessions consisting of five plays, four plays and four plays. On Lamars third possession the Cards move the ball out to the 48 yard line but could not convert on 4th and 1. Sam scored on their first possession and Lamar forced them to punt on the second.

To close out the first quarter, Lamar turned the ball over on a fumbled lateral pass giving Sam the ball at the Lamar 30. Defense has responded with a stop for no gain and a sac on second down. To start the 2nd quarter Sam will have 3rd and about twenty.

Sam got another field goal to extend the lead to 55-0. End of the third quarter, Sam has started playing multiple non-starters and Lamar is moving the ball a little. Lamar has a 2nd and two on their own 47 to open the fourth quarter.

Watched Air Force game highlight, or as much as I could fore I dozed off.

LU looks straight up, 95% AF offense. The only differences are we attempt to a pass a couple times more ( prolly cuz were behind) and AF has rbs carrying the ball instead of tight ends and receivers.

I will give them a little credit. They did at leat attempt to throw a little more in the second half...of course 34 rushing attempts for 26 yards....we are VERY slow to learn. "Hello.....ummm, I dont think we are going to be able to run against them!"

Receivers look like they are running in mud. Of course, 90% of the time they are tight ends.

Puddin, if the offense was gaining say an average 4.5 yards per carry with the run game and some fifteen to twenty yard passes every series are two you probably would not hate the offense. If the offense was attempting a pass 8 out of every 9 plays and only completing one or two for an average of say five yards. That offense would suck too. And oh yeah the game would take at least another hour and the score would have been much worse. When your offense does not move the ball it stinks. I will give these players a chance to gain experience and see what happens over the next couple of years.

Poor Ole PT is a very disgruntled fan, we all would love a well polished offensive unit and a solid defensive unit. This will be there 5 game, learning new schemes with new players and ones from a previous staff that did not suit his taste. My suggestion is for him to take his offense and method of operation to Coach Morgan, maybe he will use some of his plays!! Then again probably not!! ✌🏻Out🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Nah, Morgan will stick with that potent running attack - 34 carries for 26 yards. I cannot wait for Saturday. Maybe 60 carries for 50 yards?!! Edge of your seat excitement from team Ambien!!

not disgruntled with the team at all. they have already passed my win expectations for spring and fall. They are trying and they have some spunk. Dont like the offensive scheme. I find it boring. How many people tune into army, navy, Air Force games to watch the offenses?

Maybe you wanna run your TE or dinky WR into the middle of the D. Id prefer to throw to em.

grew up watching the horns, Gilbert, Bertlesen , Street etc run the wishbone. Bored the crap outta me then.
