This is a good thing! I would have said it was a bad thing if we were doing well. Publicity is publicity you know.

But we need to concentrate. I'm very happy he did this.

I am not saying it's good or bad, it's his practices, run them the way he see's fit.

But, I am curious as to why he wants to close them now.

cause he's about to engage in corporal punishment!...i remember getting paddled by a big 2 x 6 with holes drilled in it in high school...LOL :ohmy:

They may be working on some packages that they don't want anyone to see right now. I have no problem with Coach Woodards decision.

We all know he is taking some heat about personnel decisions and the loss on Saturday. This is typical of coaches to close the practices when the media/fans are in a feeding frenzy to quell the unrest. Win the next 2 or 3 games and you media guys will be open to the practices again.

^^ Agreed. Like I said earlier, I'm happy he did it. I think it's more about focusing on improvement without the distractions of the media. I remember the first fall practice teeming with media types and we all might have been a bit of a distraction to a program that isn't going to have to get used to this like a SEC or Big XII program would.
