Mens SLC Basketball Championship Game

Watched a good portion of the game last night and was thoroughly disgusted. The officiating was the worst of any game I have watched all season. While SFA won the game and probably is the team from the conference that should be in the NCAA tourney some of the calls and non-calls were ridiculous. Early in the game the officials called double technical fouls for something that from what was seen on TV was unobvious especially considering the amount of body contact was occurring that was ignored by the officials. On one play Walkup went after a rebound well outside of the lane and knocked the A&M CC player down with nothing called and yet they make a double tech call a few minutes later. The officials wouldn't make me want to be part of the SLC. I don't know if the Lamar should be thinking about trying to get to FBS football but it sure would be nice to get to a conference that got and earned some respect.
