a reply from one of my friends from Longview that follows the Lobos about RB Tory White:

 

"He's a stud. Very good quickness and vision. Top end speed is legit as evidenced by his 99-yard TD run in the playoffs last year against Jesuit. Probably the best RB to come through Longview since McGee and Ivory back around 05 in my opinion. I think Lamar got them a good one. Probably would have been more highly recruited had he not split time with older kids his Jr year, but I would not complain as a Lamar fan or alum. Hopefully he pans out better than the last few Longview RBs in college."

We needed Hunter Conn, think he is the first HS OL guy we have had of that size. Usually they're 50 pounds under weight when they get here.

We're seeing a lot of "first team all-district" in this class including a "first team all-state" in the RB from Kingwood. That's good news.

 

my friend from Longview is VERY high on RB Tory White too. Read his quote about him on page 1.
