SDSU attempted 366 passes this year (which is 90 attempts more than Lamar in 2018), so that's around 30 attempts a game- not very wishbone like. Heres hoping for an explosive offense!

Looking forward to see what Morgan can do here at Lamar. Anything is better than Schultz! I will support the new coach and wish him all the best!
Yall need to read former lineman Micah McCombs twitter (@micahrmccomb). Very sad to see what was going on behind the scenes under Schultz
The stories I heard (from players) about how Schultz treated his players and parents for the last 3 years was sickening to me. Glad he's finally gone.
BMT Examiner reported a skirmish on the Lamar sideline after 2 botched calls and that control was "lost"? Makes me think Schultz has lost the locker room.....
There was reportedly a skirmish on the Lamar sideline after 2 botched calls and that control was lost- reported by The BMT Examiner. Has Schultz lost the locker room?
My pick would have been Carthel, but he's at SFA now.
According to Micah's twitter account, he says he has had spinal stenosis surgery. Says he will continue working with Lamar Football and continue working to earn on his Marketing & Finance degree....
Plus we will finally see if last years offense was Schultz's baby or the now departed OC Dan Dodds offense.
I heard that Dodd was indeed returning home to retire. Perfect fit working in his hometown I guess.
Is the OC Coach Dan Dodd leaving? His twitter has changed to San Clemente CA and Saddleback University. I liked Dodd and he was popular with the kids
Congrats boys on a great year! Even though we lost, we showed we belonged in the playoffs. Barring 2 fumbles and 2 missed fgs we would have won easily. I'm looking forward to another step forward...
This team is young, and I think they've finally bought into the coaches and the program. They finally believe they can win, which is going to carry into the off season, and next year should be fun!
Impressive victory. This team is a totally different team after they got some confidence after last weeks win. The OL manhandled them. Go cards!
How can UIW hire a new coach and turn there program around in 5 games, while the Lamar staff is headed for another 2 win season? Answer: we hired the wrong guy.
Agreed-its time for a new head coach. I feel bad for the kids and the fans that are trying to get excited for football and get let down game after game.
Maybe hire Carthel from A&M Commerce- d2 nat...
I thought the defense played well, especially considering they had no support from the offense. The Oline is better then last year, but the Quarterback and skill positions are what debilitated the...
Yep camp starts tomorrow, a lot of players spent summer on campus and made some big gains in the weight room. Hope this translates into wins
Most of the scholarship players are on campus since Summer 1 classes began, and will be there for Summer 2 as well
I think Hoy looked better than Colbert and probably should be the starter come fall. Morse has the best arm and he really looked good after his first 2 drives, which were shaky at best. The O line...
Glad to see the big DL signees. We also signed 1 center and we need at least 1 more as we lost both from 2017 season- Oubre thru graduation, and Vongor has left the program from what I understand to...
With the way the team is doing, how is the players morale? Its got to be shot....
I'm sure there will be more transfers out unless something changes
I believe we have talent, maybe not to win the SLC, but enough to be competitive in every game- like Northwestern State and ACU.
The execution and play calling is horrible-and seems to be getting...
