From the Game Notes:

Lamar's 19 seniors will be playing their final game at Provost Umphrey Stadium today.

The seniors which will be recognized are Patrick Carlton, Blake Chavis, Colton Collins, Taylor Davis, Adren Dorsey, Kameron Edwards, VanLawrance Franks, DePauldrick Garrett, Jordan Garrett, Adrian Guillory, Ryan Jones, Jeremy Kirt, Marcus Malbrough, Stephone Mercer, John Prescott, Sean Robertson, Juventino Sanchez, Steven Murray-Sesay and Joseph Viator.

Former quarterback Doug Prewitt, who has served as a student coach this year, will also be recognized. Prewitt's career ended in the spring due to injury.

Taylor Davis, DePauldrick Garrett and Jeremy Kirt are listed as juniors on the roster but evidently this is their last year of eligibility.

Prewitt's career was tooled around by the way he was treated. Best QB leader LU has had since bringing football back.

Lamar Cardinals ‏@LamarCards

Berry holds onto the ball again, this time it appears to have been designed that way and he goes 16 yards for a TOUCHDOWN! Cards lead 27-17.

Three straight keepers by Caleb Berry, all for big chuncks of yards, results in a TD. Lamar leads Nicholls 27-17 (11:19, 4Q). #BEscores

Lamar Cardinals ‏@LamarCards

After a nine-yard sack by Marcus Malbrough, John Prescott picks off a deflected pass and returns it 26 yards for a TD. Cards now lead 34-17.

Lamar Cardinals@LamarCards That's seven picks in the last two weeks for the Lamar defense.

Christopher Dabe@cmdabe

Not many defensive tackles get pick-6's. Ozen grad John Prescott just did. Lamar up 34-17 with 5:42 left.
