    +1

The silly part is I agree that the list starts with Oliver.

I can still see that Sewell jumper like it was yesterday though.

It all starts and ends with any tandem that Oliver was a part of. End of discussion. For those that didn't get to see him play won't completely understand, but his records and his teams records stand for themselves.

How many points would Mike have scored if there was a three point shot? 3000? And he could completely take over a game. I remember a game in McDonald gym (against La Tech, I think) where they were double and triple teaming him, denying him the ball. Tubbs had him go just stand by the scorers table, while the rest of the team played 4 on 3. LU won 120-80. Damndest thing I ever saw.

The 1980-81 team had Alvin Brooks and Mike Oliver starting with Terry Long coming off the bench. Terry Long averaged 10 points a game but I think most of his shots would be 3-pointers today. This team beat Missouri in the first round of the NCAA tourney.

    Mike Oliver 22.3 ppg
    Alvin Brooks 11.7 ppg
    Terry Long 10.0 ppg

Someone help me out here. Wasn't Sewell a 2 year juco player? If so then career stat comparisons are apples to oranges.

My memory says he was here 3 years, spent 1 year at Florida JUCO!
