In an announcement today on the Colin Cowherd show MLB and all parties involved have agreed to fully institute instant replay in 2014. Even Bud Selig was on board according to ESPN. This is a major leap into the 21st century for Major League Baseball who have steadfastly refused to step up and make the game better with the use of replay. In just the last couple of years replay would have changed the outcome of a number of games and the idea that we as fans will get to see wrong or missed calls reversed is nothing but a good thing. For the traditionalists who like the "human element" in baseball all I can say is Poppycock! This is a long overdue move by baseball and I'm glad to see it.
