Re: Predict the Cardinals Season
I think if LU struggles against Grambling then it's going to be a long season. Grambling was terrible last year so they have a new coach and are rebuilding. If LU only beats them by a touchdown or two then I predict another 5 win season.

Re: Predict the Cardinals Season
This schedule is built for 7-5. I would hope for 8-4, anything less means we likely lose to gramling, Nicholls or one of the three newcomers. So 8-4, anything less have to strongly considering letting Woodard walk

CS what DB's and which old folks home are you speaking of? Let's see them play before before we start making such critical comparisons.

Re: Predict the Cardinals Season
Let's see how bad I look at the end of the year...
08/30 vs Grambling State -- Win by 21
09/06 at Texas A&M -- Loss by 42
09/13 vs Texas College -- Win by 50
09/20 vs Mississippi College -- Win by 50
09/27 vs Sam Houston State -- Lose by 7
10/04 at Abilene Christian -- Win by 3 (I think ACU will be by far the best of the newbies this year)
10/11 vs Southeastern Louisiana -- Lose by 20
10/18 at Nicholls State -- Win by 14
11/01 vs Houston Baptist -- Win by 35
11/08 at Central Arkansas -- Lose by 3
11/15 vs Incarnate Word -- Win by 31
11/22 at McNeese State -- Lose by 21
7-5. I could see us beating Sam or even maybe UCA if we play very well, but think Southeastern and McNeese are significantly better than anyone else in the conference--I'd be surprised if either loses to anyone else in the conference. Conversely, I'd be surprised if HBU or Incarnate Bird got any wins against anyone other than their head-to-head battle. I'm very worried about our lack of depth. If we stay fully healthy, especially on the lines and at QB, it obviously would improve our chances of getting to 8 or even 9 wins.
