LetItGo
The rich get richer as far as talent, guy. Team, this kid has speed, athleticism and toughness. He was primed for special things at Texas this year before running himself off the team. Sam Houston just got a lot better on Offense, guy. coachacola
SHSU is loading up on FBS transfers this year. Just a few years ago some of their fans were mockingly calling LU transfer "U", but when they do it they're cool with it.

lu cards
I don't have an issue with sam's new love of transfers but they sure did give a lot of shit when we tasted the fruit.huntsville police better add a few officers!!!:D
CS
Good Luck with that kid, Sam Houston. Nothing but trouble. Lightning in a bottle on the field but off the field.... no thank you.
KABrother88
So for comparisons sake by my calculations Lamar has 24 transfers on the roster (10 FBS, 12 JUCO, & 2 FCS or lower). Sam has 30 transfers on their roster (21 FBS, 8 JUCO, and 1 FCS). Of course some of them will see it as SHSU being so desirable and not them taking retreads... lu cards
I don't really consider juco's as transfers.i like to look at the fbs transfer numbers.i don't have an issue with fbs transfers but you can definetly hurt your program bringing in to mnay of these kids.lots of them come with issues and weve seen it first here at lamar that it can do more harm than good.i think lamar has done an excellent job in the last few years bringing in transfers that fit in and stick with the program.sometimes you can take a chance on a questionable kid but not every year.
