Game going about the way you would expect. Lamar up by 28 at half time. Lamar 58 AC 30. Almost everyone has played at this point with the only real negative being the number of fouls on the Cards.

Several of the new players showed promise. Yes AC was a cupcake for Lamar but a lot of big time programs open with cupcake games. I've noticed this year that the University of Kansas opened the official part of their season with an easy win over Northern Colorado and that doesn't include the two exhibition games they played with NAIA schools from the state of Kansas.

The offense is a lot of fun to watch, it's fast and high scoring. There is obvious plenty of room for improvement but they looked pretty good for a team with a lot of new player.
