This incident involving D'Angelo Russell secretly videoing LA Lakers teammate Nick Young as he questioned him about his infidelities despite the fact that Young is engaged to singer Iggy Azalea. Russell is such a creep for sitting and chilling at Young's home as he grilled him about his sexual conquests. There is no other reason to video a private conversation other than for malicious intend. Russell denies he posted the video online although he says his instagram account had no been hacked. The only other explanation is he sent it to someone who then posted it online. Regardless of how the video went public the question begs to be asked, "Why, in God's name, would you do that in the first place?"
Young is no innocent victim here because he showed what an immature schmuck he is by detailing what a playa he is. If he's a single guy what he was talking about is no big deal. Consenting adults and all that. However, he's engaged and part of that is an implied expectation of fidelity. You have found "the one" and are ready to settle down. Well, except for the hotties you pick up at the club. Young is one of those guys who think they are a man because they have a functioning penis. That couldn't be farther from the truth, all your genitals do is identify your gender. There is a whole lot more involved in being a man. Young is a 30 year old child who calls himself Swaggy P. If Iggy has any self respect she'll dump this tool bag ASAP because he's not going to grow up any time soon.
The point of this is the general evil of social media. For years celebs and athletes have embarrassed themselves on social media because they hit "send" before they consider the consequences. There is a saying that goes, "Wait ten minutes before you hit send", and that's because that ten minutes gives you a chance to think about what you send. Unfortunately, what you say in the heat of an emotional moment is one thing but there are just a lot of idiots out there who are nothing more than trolls who do stuff just to see what happens. The more upheaval the better. "There are people in the world, Master Bruce, who don't care about money or anything else. They just want to watch the world burn." - Alfred to Bruce Wayne in the movie 'The Dark Knight'. It was a very sobering moment in that movie as Bruce Wayne got an inkling of what he was facing in the person of the psychotic villain, the Joker. That's why I have always thought that movie was never meant for kids. The themes in the Dark Knight were frightening and unnerving that children could not grasp. The fact that there really are people as evil as the Joker in real life made me, as an adult, feel very uncomfortable. To a lesser extent the people who troll others on social media are one's who don't care about other's feelings or the consequences of what they post have that same evil in them.
