time to get some talk going about this game.havent beat these guys since bringing back football.

I've noticed a trend the last 3 years leading into this year...each year we beat 1 SLC team that we haven't before. (Counting teams that were already in the SLC at the time of our rebirth)

2013 - SFA
2014 - McNeese
2015 - Sam Houston

The only 2 remaining teams we haven't beaten in Northwestern St. and Central Arkansas. Central Arkansas looks tough this year and Northwestern St. looks vulnerable. Smart money says if the trend continues it will be Northwestern St. in 2016. That being said, last year we traveled there to face a winless Demon squad and that's where the wheels started to fall off in our season...

I think Lamar wins the next 2 games. Earp has settled in, O line has gotten better, defense is better. Last year the wheels fell off at SWL , when Earp went down, and Minden had messed up hand. The team never recovered after that game. If the key players stay healthy , this team will only get better. I think they will go on a good run.

We should see a similar score to the last 2 games. LU scores 30+ points and NW State scores a few TDs. Their offense is terrible but they appear to have a good defense. If LU comes out flat it could be a close game.

Wasn't able to make it to the game sounds like the last few minutes where jammed packed with excitement for BIG RED. Glad to see they got the win just got to keep it rolling.
