Congratulations to the Lady Cardinal Soccer team and coaches. It's great to have a champion, hopefully this is the direction all of the sports will soon be moving. I know that other sports such as Cross Country, Tennis and Golf have been strong for years. It's just great that a relatively new sport has made it to the top. Seems like LU has done a better job of hiring quality women's team coaches than the men's lately. Hope Schultz has a turnaround in his back pocket.

Way to go Lady Cards! SLC 2017 Soccer Champ!! The women have shown up but let’s not forget the Lamar men’s baseball team had a nice season under a new head coach. Things are okay around Cardinal Nation with brighter days still ahead.
