Lamar ladies won the early game and improved to two and 0 in conference. The men's game is just beginning at 7:30 PM. Important early conference game for the men as they need to establish the ability to win on the road in conference.

At the second media timeout Lamar is up 9 -7. So far it has been a good aggressive game. LU shooting percentage is in the mid 30's but they are only two of six from the free throw line.

Halftime and LU leads 35 - 29. Only negative is that CC is getting too many points off of offensive rebounds compared to Lamar. No real foul problems for the Cards as only Sullivan and Harrison have two fouls.

Cards come out cold in the second half and go about three and a half minutes before getting their first field goal and missing two of six free throws over the first four minutes. Lamar is currently up by two but CC is going to the free throw line coming out of the time out.

Seven minutes left in the game and Lamar is up by five at 63 - 58

1:05 to play and LU is up by two points. If the Cards fail to win this game free throw shooting will be a big part of the issue. The Cards have to do better from the line.
