    MLB DRAFT

It appears that Tanner Driskill (9th round/281 overall by the Nationals) is the only Cardinal to go in this year's draft. I'm sure the terrible season had a lot to do with that. Probably the person hurt most was the undrafted Robin Adames. Teams pitched around him for most of the season because most of the young guys weren't hitting until late in the year. He still managed to hit almost .300 but a lot of the hits came late in the year.

Two members of the signing class were drafted; Braydon Fisher (4th round/134 overall by the Dodgers) and J. C. Correa (33rd round/1002 overall by the Astros). Fourth round money is pretty good so I'll be surprised if Fisher makes it to campus.

Fisher got $497,500 to sign with the Dodgers. I didn't except him to come but it's a positive that Lamar has a guy like him in the signing class.
