PeckEm
Jalen Dummett is my pet cat to start at QB. What’s a pet cat? Typo?
PeckEm
Found on the internet, he’s a preferred walk on. Give him a scholly and start him! By the way, I’m with you! Give the kid a scholly and start him!!
puddin tane
After looking at his hudl video, I find it a bit surprising that he’s a PWO. Looks like he has a very good arm. His hudl looks WAY better than any of thecqb’s Dulz recruited. Also find it interesting that he is a “pro style qb”, that gives me hope that Morgan actually wants a qb that can throw. its kinda hard finding free info on him, there’s one article about his senior season, but they want you to subscribe to the paper. I think he had a kickass junior year, got hurt and not much of a senior year......I think...

Dracula
What’s a pet cat? Typo? It's just a way to describe someone's favorite player. Jalen Dumment is my favorite to start at QB, in 2020.

spoonbill
Then I must be in love because I am all in with this new coaching staff. The kids are pumped, especially the offensive skill players. Morgan has talked more than a few kids not to transfer that possibly had that intention.
LU17
Spoke with 2 Lamar football players yesterday. One recruited by the Woodard staff (senior) and the other signed by the Shultz regime (junior), both said they are impressed with Morgan & his staff. They stated the coaches seem to be smart and know what they are doing. They said that there is excitement that wasn’t there previously with all the players. They also stated they were really impressed with the recruits. Are you saying that Schmultz didn’t get the team excited! Wow, that’s really hard to believe. Schmultz seemed like such a great motivator. I’m positive that Ladanian would not have been a HOF player if not for Schmultz motivational speeches. NorthoftheBorder
Not only did we get what looks to be a SLC level stud player but we also get a new DL coaching name. Looks like it is Cameron Davis, was a grad assistant last year for Kentucky coaching on defense. Not sure when Morgan will officially announce the remainder of his staff. BigRed2010
Wayne Cordova Safeties coach at Southern University in Baton Rouge appears to be LU's new DB coach. https://gojagsports.com/sports/football/roster/coaches/wayne-cordova/287 He also coached at McNeese. https://mcneesesports.com/sports/football/roster/coaches/wayne-cordova/1243
Dracula
let's see what we have. According to, https://lamarcardinals.com/sports/football/roster Morgan, HC, + 5 coaches on the offensive side and 1 quality control coach. On the Defensive side, Weikert, DC/ILB's, SCOTT THIESSEN outside LBs, and 1 quality control coach. Add Wayne Cordova / DB's and Cameron Davies / DL. What's left, special teams? Should we send the list to Marco or is this super secret double probation type stuff?

Probably 1 or 2 of the assistants will handle special team duties. JMHO.

Dracula
As it stands now, Schultz had a bigger staff but who knows, if Morgan is done. https://lamarcardinals.com/sports/football/roster/2019#sidearm-roster-coaches vs https://lamarcardinals.com/sports/football/roster#sidearm-roster-coaches

Also saw on Ford's twitter a commitment from a WR/RB out of Huntsville Tx. Not sure is he is a PWO or a scholly player.
