Baseball at SFA
Three game weekend series at SFA to open the WAC regular season. Due to weather Friday evening Cards playing a double header today and one game on Sunday. After one inning Lamar is up 1-0.

SFA gets one run in the bottom of the fifth to tie the game at one a piece. Good pitchers dual so far.

Lamar comes back to get a second run in the top of the sixth to retake the lead 2-1. Lamar relief pitchers have done ok so far, as Odom pitched one and a third innings allowing two batters on in the bottom of the seventh and yielding to Davis with two runners on. Davis comes in and get two strikes outs to end the inning.

Game two has started and Cards are up 5-0 in the top of the second and have chased the SFA starting pitcher.

Cards up 9-0 after two innings. Coming to bat in the third.

After six innings the Cards are up 14-3. The offense has allowed the Cards to stay out of the bullpen to this point.

Game three Sunday at 1 PM. A sweep would be a great way to start conference play.

Game 3, SFA leads 2-0 in the top of the 4th.

Lamar scores 4 in the top of the 4th making it 4-2.

Top of the 8th, Lamar leads 4-3.

Bottom of the 9th, the Cardinals lead 6-3.

Final 6-3 as the Cardinals sweep the series.
