Not much difference in rankings, so a chance for a win in one of them. Would be nice to sweep the event.

Less than 2 minutes into the game and LU is already down by 11 points!!

LU finally woke and down 31-26 to Lindenwood with 5 minutes left in the half.

Lamar came back and tied the game at 33 with 1:38 left in the half but a foul, a turnover and a missed shot allowed Lindenwood to push out to a six-point lead at the half, 39-33.

Leading scorers are Calmese, Pennebaker, and Thirdkill with 9, 7, and 6 points respectively. These are all freshmen. Big guy Hamilton has 4 points.

Midway through second half with Lamar down by five. The Cards did get the lead briefly, but only for one possession. I think if Lamar could get a two or three score lead, they might be able to hold it, but so far haven't been able to get there.
