BB Double Header vs SELA Jan 26th
Cards men and women take on Southeastern today with the ladies tipping off at 3. Womens' game is for a chance to tie for first place and avenge last years tournament loss, while SELA's men were originally picked to be at the top of the conference and haven't lived up to the preseason hype yet, but should still provide a very stiff opponent for the Cards.

Re: BB Double Header vs SELA Jan 26th
Men will need a win to stay tied for second as Nicholls has already one today to move to 5-2 and both McNeese and Corpus appear to be on their way to wins. Tipoff is scheduled for 6.

Re: BB Double Header vs SELA Jan 26th
Cards come out slow - piss poor shot selection

Re: BB Double Header vs SELA Jan 26th
Neither team shooting well, Lamar up by one at the under twelve-minute timeout, 13-12.

Re: BB Double Header vs SELA Jan 26th
Lamar shot selection has improved and with 6:40 left in the half the Cards are up by eleven points, 29-18 and are 6-9 from beyond the arc.

Re: BB Double Header vs SELA Jan 26th
Lamar sloppiness shows it's ugly head again and over three minutes the lead shrinks to two points, 29-27.

Re: BB Double Header vs SELA Jan 26th
At the half the game is tied at 34 each. Both teams shooting 44.4% from the field with Lamar making three more three pointers, but SELA with three more made free throws. SELA is leading in rebounds but has three more turnovers than Lamar.

Re: BB Double Header vs SELA Jan 26th
For some reason, Lamar can never extend their lead once they are ahead by six to eight points. The opponent always comes back to tie the game or go ahead. I think it might be due to how Coach Brooks substitutes.

Re: BB Double Header vs SELA Jan 26th
7:39 left in the game and Lamar is up by ten 58-38. Hamilton came in at about the sixteen-minute mark and seemed to settle things down as Lamar built a decent lead again.

Re: BB Double Header vs SELA Jan 26th
3:37 left and Lamar has an eight-point lead. Can Lamar execute their offense efficiently to maintain the lead down the stretch. Can't give up open looks for SELA from beyond the arc, can't turn the ball over and need to get good shots.

Re: BB Double Header vs SELA Jan 26th
Lamar wins by ten, 74-64 to remain tied for second place in the conference. Hamilton scores 13 points and get 7 rebounds playing fifteen minutes in the second half. Pryor scores 17 to lead the Cards in scoring and Jackson had 12.
